Privacy policy
Who this is
This site, amiburstin.me, is run by Ami Burstin, an independent marketing consultant based in Herzliya, Israel. If you have any question about your data or this policy, email ami@amiburstin.me.
What I collect
I only collect what you choose to give me, plus basic, privacy-friendly usage data.
- When you use the booking form: your name, company or organization, email, funding stage or organization type, rough budget, and whatever you write in the free-text field.
- When you book a call: the scheduling is handled by cal.com, which collects your name, email, and the details above so the meeting can be set up.
- General usage: aggregate, non-identifying analytics about how pages are visited. No advertising trackers and no cross-site profiling.
Why I collect it
To respond to you, prepare for and schedule an intro call, and understand at a high level how the site is used so I can improve it. That is all.
Who processes it
I use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only process your data on my behalf:
- cal.com for scheduling calls.
- Hostinger, which hosts the mailbox that receives and replies to your messages.
- Vercel, which hosts the site and provides cookieless, aggregate analytics.
I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any storage used is limited to what is needed for the site and the booking tool to function.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and booking details only as long as needed to follow up with you or for our working relationship, and then remove them. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you, or ask me to stop using it. Email ami@amiburstin.me and I will take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
